  15. <p>     DIED. Rex Harrison, 82, delectable English actor; in New
  16. York City. Best known for his Tony- and Oscar-winning
  17. performances as Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, he was
  18. also the very model of the English gentleman in drawing-room
  19. comedy and bittersweet drama. Knighted last year, Harrison
  20. avowed no plans to retire: "I wouldn't know what to do." He was
  21. starring in the Broadway comedy The Circle until three weeks
  22. before his death.
